WRAPPING TWIST
After declining her famous Wrapping Candy sculptures, Laurence JENK continues her reflection on the twist with the Wrapping Twist Collection. This collection is Laurence JENK’s medium to raise awareness on topics such as waste, the environment and endangered species.
In 2017, the Wrapping Twist collection was born with artworks such at the Wrapping Bin, Wrapping Elephant, or Wrapping Fridge. Particularly sensitive to women's rights, in 2019 she donated to the Women’s Foundation in Paris the Wrapping “Battered Woman” in the presence of First Lady Brigitte Macron and Minister Marlène Schiappa.
The artworks in this collection, strong, recognizable, and universal, are made of plexiglass, aluminum, or polyester.
